| Joanne Sullivan is Suffield's Republican of the Year |

The Suffield Republican Party will honor Joanne Sullivan as their “Republican of the Year” at the Lincoln Day Dinner on March 16th at the Skyline Restaurant in Windsor Locks.
“Joanne has served the Town and State in many capacities for many years and truly deserves recognition for her service” said John P Murphy, Suffield RTC Co-Chair.
Joanne is currently serving her second term as Selectmen. She previously spent 11 years on the Board of Finance. In addition to these positions Joanne has or currently serves on the Board of Hilltop Farm, Suffield Retirement Commission and was a charter member of the Suffield Chamber of Commerce.
A lifelong Suffield resident, Joanne was until recently the co-owner of Chestnut Oak Associates Realtors. Perhaps her greatest accomplishment was raising 5 sons who have provided her and her husband Dan with thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Joanne and Dan, her husband of 54 years, have been active advocates for youth sports programs in Town. “When you consider her participation in Town governance and institutions and programs that benefit Suffield this honor is well deserved” said Scott Guilmartin, RTC Co-Chair.
